UX Designer

About the role

We are looking for a UX Designer who is passionate about sport and technology to join our fast-growing company with headquarters in London and offices in Melbourne and Orlando.

You will be working in a dynamic environment alongside a world-class team of entrepreneurs, technologists and clients, focused on turning ClubSpark, our award-winning sport participation platform to become a global leader.

You will work very closely with the Head of Product, Creative Director, Chief Architect, Business Analyst and Project Managers to gather and interpret business and user requirements and design new features for the ClubSpark product that meet client needs and utilise the existing functionality and capabilities of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Work with the Head of Product to help develop the product roadmap and prioritisation of features
·      To set objectives for new features and work with the project teams to deliver against these objectives
·      Analyse user and business requirements against current and future capabilities of the product to ensure the design of new features can be developed in the most cost effective & productive manner
·      Analyse user and business requirements to see seek out future opportunities within the platform
·      Conduct research and use data to inform decision making on product design
·      Conduct research for new features and technology that could enhance the product
·      Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
·      Develop wire frames and prototypes that clearly illustrate how new features and sites function
·      Identify and troubleshoot UX problems within the platform
·      Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
·      Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images within the ClubSpark UI kit
·      Have enough product and technical knowledge to be able to explain what needs to be done to developers
·      Put users at the centre of all features that are designed

Required knowledge and experience:

·      Experience of working on website and mobile applications
·      Experience in and a passion for sport and technology
·      Experience of using wire framing and prototyping software
·      Experience of applying data to decision making and product design
·      The ability to present complex processes in a simple concise manner
·      The ability to collaborate to achieve the best end results
·      The ability to negotiate for the best outcomes for the product and business
·      Excellent communication skills: written, diagrammatical and oral
·      Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
·      Excellent research skills

Beneficial knowledge and experience:

·      Experience of using Axzure, Invision and Mocking bot prototyping tools
·      Experience of using JIRA andConfluence
·      Experience of using Google Analytics
·      Experience in working on SaaS products
·      Experience of project management
·      Experience of working in an agile software development environment
