About the role
The Senior Relationship Manager will be based in the United States (ideally Florida) and will lead the development and management of key customer relationships across North America. The role will focus on accelerating sports participation and player engagement at national, regional, venue/club, and organizational levels through strategic partnerships, data-driven insights, and nationwide sports relationships.
A primary focus of the role will be to building and strengthening relationships with the USTA at national, section and district levels, while also developing partnerships with other National Governing Bodies (NGBs) across North America.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal Clubspark teams, including Product, Marketing and Customer Success, to ensure client needs are met and opportunities for growth are maximized.

● Strong network and experience within the US sports governing body landscape, ideally including tennis.
● You are highly professional, customer centric, proactive and data driven. A consultative manager, not an administrator.
● Focused on forming solution based approaches to client needs aligned with current and future product portfolios.
● Strong commercial awareness and relationship management skills to work with existing customers and identifying new ones.
● Effective communicator and collaborator with clients and internal teams to deliver solutions.
● Continually advance your domain knowledge and understand developments in the sport industry.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage relationships with our North American clients: this will be principally focused on the USTA, one of Clubspark’s key strategic clients, the ITA and Tennis Canada. Ensuring they are supported to maximise the impact of the Clubspark platform on their objectives to increase player participation and engagement.
● A particular focus on driving growth in Court bookings and court management tools within the USTA Serve Tennis ecosystem.
● Strategic development to produce engaged productive customer partnerships.
● Work in collaboration with our clients to understand their needs, translating these into actionable plans and align with Company offerings and objectives.
● Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across national, regional and local organizations.
● Evaluate new business opportunities with new and existing clients.
● Develop a deep understanding of the sporting landscape throughout North America, particular the operations of our key strategic client: the USTA.
● Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business products, competitors, and the wider industry.

● Extensive senior commercial experience in the sports industry at an NGB level and particularly in Tennis is essential. This would ideally cover a technology or related product offering.
● Material account management and key client relationship experience - including account development strategy and pricing.
● Experience in solving business problems, moving solutions forward and strategic thinking
● Experience developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts.
● Proactive and strong clear communication skills: including strong presenting skills and a natural ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a wide variety of people.
● Strong quantitative skills with great attention to detail.
● Experience using CRM tools (Hubspot ideally).
● Resilient self-starter, able to work efficiently under pressure with the confidence to work independently.
