About the role

We are looking for a Scrum Master to work with our team of Product Managers, Engineers, and Key Stakeholders to deliver our product roadmap. We are looking for a highly motivated, people person to support our partners to make the most of what the Clubspark platform can offer! Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the team’s delivery across all clients including product development work
  • Focus on delivering value while controlling each project’s scope and timeline
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Orchestrating the deployment of new features and product updates
  • Coach team members in Agile framework and implementing changes effectively
  • Help teams implement changes effectively, while facilitating internal communication and effective collaboration with all team members
  • Act as the point of contact for external communications (eg key stakeholders such our high profile Clients, USTA)
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Resolve issues and remove obstacles that occur
  • Assist the software development teams in applying the Scrum framework
  • Help build a productive team environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it and ultimately, creating self-organising teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints
  • Plan deliverables and assist teams in monitoring their performance

Skills, knowledge & experience required:

 Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5-years’ experience in a similar Scrum Master role 
  • Experience working on SaaS products and Software Development (ideally in Sport but not essential)
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artefacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement)
  • Advanced knowledge of Jira/Confluence 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Solutions-focused attitude 
  • Ability to work both as a team and autonomously
  • Incredibly organised – efficiency is key
  • Brings positive energy and drive as well as a collaborative and team-oriented attitude

Great if you also have
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Interest in or previous experience of working in Sports
  • Knowledge and interest of competitive tennis and competition
  • Previous experience of working across a global company 
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) 
  • Previous experience working in a software company
