Padel Scotland is supporting the development of padel venues across the UK through their pilot venue at Thistle Padel in Edinburgh. To accomplish this effectively they required an efficient system to manage access, bookings and payments while keeping their overheads at a minimum.
As ClubSpark was previously known to Padel Scotland through their work with tennis and squash venues, this provided a great foundation for a bespoke padel product to be created.
Working with Advantage Padel Consultancy and Padel Scotland, this provided an understanding of the market, a chance to review their venue in Edinburgh and customise a software and hardware solution that was suitable.
We delivered the SmartAccess system designed and installed by CIA Fire & Security while working alongside the main contractor to integrate this into the construction phase. On completion of the site installation, CIA commissioned the gate controllers linking to the Clubspark platform which launched the venue immediately.
Since the initial launch, the platform has been refined and updated throughout the year and is now used to promote and manage all aspects of the padel club.
Thistle Padel Club has operated for over a year using the Clubspark platform and CIA SmartAccess solution. This has provided the club with booking, payment and access systems for players and coaches and also created a CRM system to manage customer experiences.
Plans are now underway to offer Clubspark padel and SmartAccess at new sites from Aberdeen to Belgium to Florida!
